Breakthrough pair of the year won the Challenger

There were no nerves in the final. This year's big breakthrough couple, Veronica Virseda and Barbara Las Heras, won the final big against the Alayeto twins. 

They have gone from strength to strength this season. No one thought Veronica Virseda and Barbara Las Heras would be in the final of the WPT Marbella Masters this summer.

Now they took their first title of the season when the pair won the Bajo Aragon Challenger. And how they did it.

The final was never nervous for the pair, who easily won by the scores of 6-3, 6-0 against the Alayeto twins with their new coach in Seba Nerone.

The pair have played two Challenger competitions earlier in the season, having been eliminated in the quarter-finals. The team's toughest match during this tournament was the semifinals, where they won in the deciding and third set 6-4 against Virginia Riera and Patty Llaguno.
