Bela ready for final in front of record crowd in Mendoza

Fernando Belasteguin, 43, is set for an unlikely final on home soil in Argentina. Together with partner Arturo Coello, they beat out Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno in the Premier Padel P1 in Mendoza. 

Usually, Paquito Navarro is the big favorite in the crowd. But in Argentina, Fernando Belasteguin is the god of padel.

In front of a crowd of around 11,000 at the Aconcagua Arena stadium, Bela and Coello won by 7-6, 6-3. 

In the second semi-final, Franco Stupaczuk / Pablo Lima faced the surprise team of Alex Ruiz and Momo Gonzalez. It ended with "Stupa" and Lima winning comfortably 6-2, 6-4.

The final will be played on Sunday evening local time.
