Going for the Championship: Couples one and two will face each other in the grand final in Madrid

Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno will face Juan Lebron and Alejadro Galan for the final of the Premier Padel Madrid P1. Paquito and Di Nenno got their pass after convincingly beat Stupaczuk Lima 6/3 6/4 in the semifinals. The number ones, on the other hand, had to fight back in the third set against a very tough Tapia and Sanyo, to win 3/6 6/3 7/5. 

After winning their semifinal matches, Navarro/Di Nenno and Lebron/Galan will face each other in the final of the Premier Padel Madrid P1.

Friday's matchday started with the world number two's in great form. Di Nenno and Navarro broke their bad streak and managed to reach the final after a couple of months without good results, beating the number four seeds 6/3 6/4 in the semi-final. The Spanish-Argentine couple played an excellent match against Stupczuk and Lima (who had beaten them twice this season), and this Sunday they will look for their second premier padel title.

In the second match of the day, Galan and Lebron reached their fourth consecutive Premier Padel final after beating the debutants of the circuit, Sanyo Gutierrez and Agustin Tapia. The number ones were able to hold on when their opponents were 5-2 up in the third set, and then came from behind to take the match 3/6 6/3 7/5.

The final of the Madrid P1 of Premier Padel will face, for the third time in four tournaments played, the couples one and two of the ranking. The first final in Doha went to Navarro/Di Nenno, while the final in Rome went to Lebron and Galan.

Today from 19:00h onwards the match that will crown a new champion in Madrid will start at the WiZink Center in Madrid.
