Premier Padel Madrid P1 kicks off: Here's what the opening day will be like

The first P1 tournament of the new Premier Padel circuit begins. Today from 12:00 (Local) the action will start on the courts of the WiZink Center in Madrid, and it will be the first time that the tour lands on Spanish soil.

The new Premier Padel circuit arrives for the first time in Spain, and it will do so with the P1 tournament in Madrid. Today, the WiZink Center will dress up to host the start of the main draw. This indoor stadium, with a capacity for 17,500 spectators, will recieve the best players in the world from Monday until Saturday the 6th of August, when the final will be played.

The Madrid Premier Padel will be the first P1 tournament - second category in hierarchy - of the new Premier Padel circuit, and will award 1,000 points for the FIP ranking to each of the champions as well as 250,000 euros in prize money.

The qualifying rounds finished yesterday, and the main draw action starts today. The round of 64 will begin at 12:00h (Local), and will be played on three courts simultaneously.

All matches will be available on the Tour's YouTube channel, in addition to the official broadcasting channels of each zone: RTVE (Spain), Canal+ (France), Star+ (South America, Mexico and Caribbean), BeIN Sports (North Africa and Middle East), Super Sport Tv (Sub-Saharan Africa), Charlton TV (Israel), ViaPlay (Northern European countries), Cosmote (Greece), Arena Sport (Slovakia, Czech Republic), Coupang (Korea) and SkySports (Europe).
