The legend and the young promise will play together

Carolina Navarro Bjork and Claudia Jensen will team up for the second half of the season.

Former world number one Carolina Navarro and young Argentinean star Claudia Jensen will be a new pairing as of today. Both players will join paths in a new and exciting project to face the second part of the year. 

"Character, freshness, power, self-confidence and explosiveness: a very young player with the desire to take on the world, that's who I will have by my side fighting for every ball. Thank you Claudia Jensen for accepting this challenge. I'm happy and super motivated to share the court with you and face all the challenges that lie ahead of us" wrote the player from Malaga on her Instagram.

The announcement comes hours after Jensen confirmed his separation from Carla Mesa, which suggests that Navarro's call was the reason for the split. Days earlier, the Spanish legend had done the same by announcing his separation from his ex-partner Eli Amatriain.

Navarro, who was world number one for nine seasons, will bring his vast experience to a very young Jensen, who is dazzling the world with her talent at just 17 years of age.
