Valencia is set to host the ninth WPT open of the season
WPT kicks off its ninth Open event of the season in Valencia. The qualifying rounds are already underway, and this Tuesday from 09:30hs (Local) the final draw will begin.
After a week off, the WPT circuit resumes its activity with the WPT Valencia Open. The Fuente de San Luis stadium will be the chosen venue to host the final draw of the ninth open of the season. This stadium, commonly known as "La Fonteta", has a capacity for 8,500 spectators and will be dressed up to welcome the best players on the planet.
The qualifying rounds are already underway, and have important new features. The circuit has added refereeing on all the courts, as well as online scoreboards for all the matches. The men's qualy will be defined on Monday afternoon, and from Tuesday the final draw will begin with the round of 32, starting at 9:30hs (Local). The women's final draw will start on Wednesday, as the qualifying rounds will be defined on Monday and Tuesday.
The top 4 seeded couples - both in the men's and women's categories - will make their debut in the round of 16 on Thursday, with the novelty of Franco Stupaczuk and Pablo Lima returning to the fourth position of the ranking, displacing Chingotto and Tello to the fifth position.
