APT Oeiras Open – Results and Schedule
After a Friday full of surprises, the semi-finals kick off this Saturday in Portugal.
In the men's draw, the quarter finals of the Oeiras Open brought many unexpected results, as three of the top four couples of the circuit were eliminated.
In the highlight match of the day, the pairing of Tolito Aguirre and Adrian Allemandi knocked out - in their first tournament together - the number ones; and will face the local couple, the Deus brothers, who made it through to the semi-finals after defeating Barrera-Britos 6/1 6/2.
The other place in the final will be fought by the second seeds Alfonso and Chiostri, who managed to eliminate Chozas/Augsburger, against the revelation couple of the tournament Federico Mouriño and Ramiro Pereyra, who will play their first semifinals after beating Julianoti and Melgratti in two sets.
In the women's draw, number 1 seeds Marta Borrero and Alejandra Alonso will face Carrascosa and Martinez. In the other semifinal, Sevilla Master finalists Schuck and Gomez will face Alonso and Seijas, who will play their first semifinals.
