The WPT Marbella Master is underway

The first WPT Master of the season is finally underway, and Marbella welcomes the best players on the planet. The first day of the round of 32 at the Marbella Master 2022 started today, and in the morning session the couples of Delfi Brea/Tamara Icardo, Ariana Sanchez/ Paula Josemaria and Fede Chingotto/Juan Tello have already qualified for Thursday's round of 16. 

The women's draw of the WPT Marbella Master got underway on Tuesday, and the first pairings to qualify are already known. The number two seeds, Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez, booked their place in the last sixteen after defeating Lorena Rufo and Carmen Goenaga 6-1 6-1. World number 4 seeds Brea and Icardo also qualified after beating Fernandez/Bidahorria 6/4-6/2 in the opening match.

In the men's draw, the fifth seeded pair, Fede Chingotto and Juan Tello beat Alba and Alonso 6-2 7-6. In the afternoon, the men's draw will continue, with high level matches that can be seen on WPT Tv.
