Borrero and Alonso champions of the Sevilla Master

Spaniards Marta Borrero and Alejandra Alonso, won the Sevilla Master after defeating Schuck-Gomez in the final by 7/6 6/3.

The super young pair of Marta Borrero (18) and Alejandra Alonso (15), currently number 5 in the APT ranking, managed to beat the Brazilian Manuela Schuck and the Spanish Monica Gomez in the final by 7/6 and 6/3 in an hour and 39 minutes of play.

"I'm at home, with my people and my family, I can't ask for more, it's a dream come true. I couldn't have imagined when I started playing padel that one day I would be able to play here in my city, under Las Setas. I couldn't be more grateful". Said a very touched Marta Borrero after the match.

The Sevillian Marta Borrero, managed in this way to become champion at home for the second time in a row, although with two different partners. In the 2021 season her partner was Mireia Herradas. This year she won the title again, but with the very young Alejandra Alonso, just 15 years old.
