The Italian couples Simone Cremona/Marco Cassetta and Daniele Cattaneo/Riccardo Sinicropi, have received the first two WC for the main draw of the Premier Padel Major of Italy, which will start on Monday, 23rd May at Foro Italico. The other six invitations (two for the main draw, four for qualifying) will be handed out from Wednesday in the qualifying rounds.

Cremona/Cassetta and Cattaneo/Sinicropi were awarded the first two WCs for the main draw of the Premier Padel Major in Rome. The Italian pairings - who are the best ranked in their country according to the FIP ranking - will fulfill their dream of facing the best couples in the world, receiving the home crowd's support.

Cattaneo (138) and Sinicropi (153) already know what it's like to compete in the main draw of a Premier Padel Major. At the Qatar Major they qualified for the main draw, where they lost against Moyano and Belluati.

”Ready to take the field at the Premier Padel Italy Major. We will relive the thrill of playing in the main draw of this incredible circuit, this time thanks to the WC granted by FIT and FIP. It will be special to play at home in the Foro Italico. We are loaded Sinicropi”, wrote Cattaneo on his Instagram.

Cremona (131) and Cassetta (143) started playing together last season, reaching the Round of 32 in the WPT Malmo Open as the best result. In this way, they became the first Italian couple in history to reach the qualifying round of a tournament on the international circuit.

It should be noted that the FIP still has six WC, which will be awarded through a pre-qualification (as in the Rome Tennis Masters), with matches starting on Wednesday.
