Perez and Gonzalez champions of the Sevilla Future

Javi Perez Morillas and Jose Luis Gonzalez were crowned champions at home. The couple played a great final and managed to beat the Argentinians Ramiro Pereyra and Fede Mouriño in two sets. 

Sevillian couple Javi Perez and Jose Gonzalez - seeded 14th in the tournament - won the APT Future 1000 on home soil after defeating the duo of Ramiro Pereyra and Fede Mouriño in Sunday's final. The local couple had the crowd's support at all times and showed their best version of the tournament, winning convincingly by 6/3 6/1.

For their part, the couple of young Argentineans - who had managed to eliminate several favorites to reach the final - couldn't do anything against Perez and Gonzalez.

"I'm very happy and very emotional. I can't find the words. I want to congratulate the guys who have done an excellent tournament. I also want to thank my partner, who played phenomenally, he's a great player, and it's a pleasure to share the court with him. And above all, I would like to thank the crowd who helped us win the tournament. It has been great to play here at home. They have been there every game, supporting and cheering us on". Javi Perez said after the match.

In addition to the title of champions, the Spanish duo received a wild card into the final draw of the Seville Master. They will make their debut in the round of 32 against the Dutch couple Bram Meijer and Uriel Maarsen this Tuesday at 10:00h (Local).
