The new pair of Stupa and Lima reach final in their first tournament

ANNONS

Franco Stupaczuk had many doubts when he went from Alex Ruiz to Pablo Lima. Now the team is through to the final of their first tournament together.

Franco Stupaczuk and Pablo Lima are through to the final of the Brussels Open. After defeating Fernando Belasteguin and Arturo Coello in two straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.

Many were surprised about Franco Stupaczuk's decision to leave Alex Ruiz to play with Pablo Lima, a choice that Stupa should be happy with so far.

— He is a great player and brings the best out of me, said Pablo Lima after the match.

In addition to the semi-final against Bela and Coello, the team won impressively against Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno in Friday's quarter-final.

Neither Franco Stupaczuk nor Pablo Lima has been in the final this year. They now face the winner of the second semi-final between Alejandro Galan/Juan Lebron and Agustin Tapia/Sanyo Gutierrez. That match will be played in the evening.
