APT Monaco Master - The semifinals are defined

On Friday, the semifinals of the APT Monaco Master took place. After vibrant matches and with great surprises, we already know which are the couples that won their place in the semifinals on Saturday.

In the men's draw, the revelation couple of the tournament, Daniel Windahl and Cristian Gutiérrez, eliminated the number one pair Franco Dal Bianco and Maxi Arce by 7/6 4/6 6/3. The Swedish/Argentine couple, who have been playing in the tournament since qualifying, managed to win what turned out to be the match of the day. Dal Bianco and Arce, on the other hand, are not asserting their game in the final stages of tournaments since they became number one.

In the women's draw, the number one and two seeds failed to win their respective matches and were out of the semifinals. Number one seeds Mandoca and Vilela were eliminated in three sets by Fernandes and Gonzalez, while number two seeds Carrascosa and Dominguez lost in two sets to Herrada and Rodriguez.
