After not being able to participate in the Premier Padel tournament due to a NOX imposition, Lamperti and Sanz won the Challenger tournament in Getafe. They defeat Martin Piñeiro and Javier Martinez in a tough match by 6-7, 7-5 and 6-4.

The number one seeded couple was surprised in the first set by Piñeiro and Martinez, who started very active and focused and took a very even first set in the tie break by 7-6.

The start of the second set seemed to favour the couple of Martin and Javier, who began better than the favourites and took a 2-0 lead. But the experience of Lamperti weighed on the court and, together with Sanz, managed to overcome the result to win the second set 7-5.

After the first game of the third set, Piñeiro suffered pain in his left foot, which required the physio to come to the court, although the match was resumed without problems.

The end of the match was very favourable for Sanz and Lamperti. Although their rivals showed signs of a comeback after going 4-2 down, finally, the logic in the ranking was given, and the champions were Miguel Lamperti and Jon Sanz, who took the match by 6-7, 7-5 and 6-3.

"It's very special for me to play in my first final and win it in front of my friends, my family, and the people in the stands. It has been a very complicated match, almost two hours". Jon Sanz said after the first title of his career.
