APT - The top seeds with a steady pace in Buenos Aires

ANNONS

The four best couples of the APT ranking advanced steadily to the quarterfinals of the APT Buenos Aires Master. Dal Bianco/Arce, Alfonso/Chiostri, Oliveira/Melgratti and Quiles/Julianoti will look for a place in the semifinals this Friday.

APT number one couple, Franco Dal Bianco and Maxi Arce, started with some doubts against Ricardo Martins and Santi Castañeyra. But as the match went on, they consolidated their game, taking the match in two sets, by 6/4 6/2. In semifinal they will face the couple Torre-Aguirre – 15:30h (local).

Chiostri and Alfonso, the second best pairing in the ranking, also made it to the quarterfinals. In a match with a first set clearly in their favour and more levelled in the second, they won Augsburger and De Pascual by 6/1 and 6/4. Ferreyra and Del Moral will be their rivals on Friday, looking for the pass to the semifinals from 18:30h (local). It is worth mentioning that the match was delayed because Alfonso suffered a sprained right ankle, although he was able to finish the match without problems.

The third seeds, Oliveira and Melgratti, managed to beat the tough couple of Allemandi and Perez in two sets, 6/4 6/3. This match was also delayed by medical assistance, as Tito Allemandi, suffered a discomfort in his left calf at the beginning of the match; and although he was able to continue, he was conditioned throughout the match. Diego Ramos and Juan Manuel Restivo will be their rivals on Friday, in a great match to be played from 17:00h (local).

Julianotti and Quiles, the fourth seeds, faced Juan Manuel Argañaras and Santiago Rolla in the morning session. In a game in which they suffered no setbacks, they took the match in two sets 6/4 and 6/2. Opening the quarterfinals at 14:00h (local), they will face Pablo Barrera and Andres Britos.

All matches will be broadcasted on YouTube, through the official APT channel.
