Africa Cup to be held in Egypt this week — here are the teams competing

This week sees the start of this year's Africa Cup for club teams. A total of ten clubs from six different countries are taking part. This year it is hosted by Egypt. 

Padel is growing strongly in African countries like Egypt and Tunisia. And later this year, South Africa will host its biggest tournament ever in Africa when the APT Padel Tour comes to Cape Town for the first time.

Starting on Thursday, the third edition of the Africa Cup will begin with the finals played on Saturday. The last time the Africa Cup was held in 2020, the host club OlympySky Club from Tunisia won. New this year is a women's category with four clubs competing.
