Star pair knocked out by Virseda/Las Heras — Sainz to Alto: ”We have started without rhythm”

— We have just come back from injuries, and we have started without rhythm, says a disappointed Lucia Sainz to Padel Alto after the match. 

Veronica Virseda and Barbara Las Heras performed excellently to win 6-3, 6-4, and advance to the quarter-finals in Reus. 

Both Marta Marrero and Lucia Sainz had a poor performance on the slow court.

Virseda and Las Heras will face the French Alix Collombon and Jessica Castello in the next match. This means that one of the teams will reach its first-ever semi-final in an Open tournament.
