The APT has its first-ever junior champions

Ignacio Archieri and Lucas Cortese. won the first APT Junior Tournament in history held in Asuncion, Paraguay. 

Earlier in March, the APT Fabrice Pastor Cup was announced created by Monte Carlo International Sport. This event, held for junior players born after 2004, crowned the first champions of its history: Ignacio Archieri and Lucas Cortese.

Archieri and Cortese won the tournament without losing a single set: they beat Retamozo and Bastos 7-6/6-0 in the Round of 16; Marcial and Kviatkovski 7-5/7-6 in the quarter-finals; in the semis, 6-3/7-6 against Di Francesco and Molina; and winning the final 6/2 6/2 against Samuel Rodríguez and Sebastían Rodríguez.

Besides being crowned champions of the tournament, Archieri and Santino will also be awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to an APT Padel Tour tournament. 

The champions were also guaranteed a place in the final draw of the Asunción Future, which begins right after the Junior tournament.
