All top 10 men's teams ready for the first FIP-tournament in Doha

ANNONS
With one day to go until the deadline for the first event of the new FIP Tour in Doha, all the top 10 teams are registered.

A total of 78 teams are registered with one day left until the deadline. Yesterday, all top 10 teams except Alex Ruiz and Franco Stupaczuk had registered. But on Friday morning, the fourth-seeded team was also registered.

This means that we will have a tournament with all the top teams in Doha on March 28-April 3. The new FIP tour is backed by the Professional Players Association (PPA) and Qatar Sports Investment (QSI).

During the first competition, the women players will not participate. It is currently unclear whether they will participate in future tournaments.

The fact that all the best are playing in Doha means that the conflict between the World Padel Tour, where the players have contracts, and the new FIP tour could escalate.

The World Padel Tour has frozen all FIP points and is reportedly claiming breach of contract, resulting in a 500 thousand euro fine.

However, the International Padel Federation (FIP), together with the Professional Player Association (PPA), has filed an application with the European Commission against the World Padel Tour, claiming that the contracts violate EU law

Here are the top ten teams ready for Doha

2. Paquito Navarro & Martin Di Nenno
