After 13 seasons — now ”The Warrior” breaks with the sponsor

ANNONS

The Spanish brand and the 43-year-old Argentine player split up after 13 seasons.

Matias, “The Warrior” Díaz, announced yesterday that the Spanish brand would no longer be his sponsor. The Argentine player, current number 59 in the ranking, and Starvie, have been linked since 2008, almost at the beginning of the brand. Now, after 13 seasons, they separate their paths.

This is how Matias said goodbye on his Instagram:

“In 2008, I signed my first contract with Starvie. A lot has happened since then, and we have faced many situations together... 13 years... not bad! In this house, I have accomplished my greatest sporting achievements, and they have always been by my side. They have always treated me as part of their family. I have been with them since the beginning of the brand, and I am proud of their growth. I had the opportunity to meet everyone who works there, from the CEO, the people in the department of marketing, and those in the administration department… but as the song says, "everything must come to an end," and the time has come for us to part ways. I want to thank each one of those who have worked with me, helping me grow professionally and personally. THANK YOU SO MUCH,” he said.

"Thank you for all these years, Matias Diaz. We wish you the best of luck in your future projects," The brand said.

The player's new sponsor has not yet been announced.
