ANNONS
Claudia Fernandez. Remember that name. The 15-year-old super talent has a bright future ahead of her, and on Sunday, she and partner Araceli Martinez were through to the main round of the Miami Open after a 6-0 win in the deciding set.

The 15-year-old, along with six-year-old Araceli Martinez, made it to the Miami Open via three sets in the final of the Previa. In the third, they could win by 6-0 and book their ticket to USA.

Overall, they defeated Ana Fernandez and Arantxa Soriano 6-3, 3-6, 6-0.

— Very good in the first set. We didn't have many mistakes. In the second set, we made more mistakes, and they played well. In the third set, it was easy for us, Claudia Fernandez says to Padel Alto after the match.

The Madrid talent is now ranked 77th in the world. A figure that both she and followers of padel believe will drop sharply in the coming years.

— My goal is to be number one in the future, she says.

One would think that this is the 15-year-old's first advancement to the main round. But last season, she already made it to the main round of the Cordoba Open.

What is the goal for this season?
— To be in as many main tournaments as possible and develop as much as possible on the court.

Fifteen years old and already in the main rounds of the world's best tour. How is that possible?
— I don't know. I've just started now. I strive to be the best I can be, and I work hard for it every day.

So now the pair is ready for the Miami Open. They will face French Alix Collombon and Jessica Castello in the first round.

— Vamos! It will be challenging, but we will push hard.
