She replaces Tamara Icardo — enters as seventh-seeded pair in Miami

On Wednesday, the announcement was made. Last year's big success Tamara Icardo, who won two tournaments last year, will miss the first tournament in Miami. 

Now her replacement is ready. The 40-ranked Argentinian Julieta Bidahorria will play alongside Delfi Brea in the first tournament of the year. They enter as the seventh-seeded pair, ahead of Mapi and Majo Alayeto, among others. 

Julieta Bidahorria reached a semi-final in a Challenger at best last season. She failed to make it to any quarterfinals in 2021.
