Official: WPT comes to France for the first time — this is where the tournament will be played

Although padel has grown a lot in France in recent years, the World Padel Tour has not been in the country. Until now. 

Padel Alto has previously reported that France will have its first WPT event in 2022. On Saturday, all details were confirmed when the head coach for the French national team on the women´s side, Robin Haziza, announced the venue live on the French Canal +.

Toulouse will host the country's first competition. A natural choice as padel has grown the most in the Occitan region where Toulouse is located. The French Padel Open will take place between the 15th and 19th of June in Palais de Sports André Brouat with a capacity of 4,200 spectators.
