BREAKING: Padel Alto reveals — Maxi Sanchez and Lucho Capra separates: ”Maxi´s decision”
— It was Maxi´s decision, Lucho Capra says to Padel Alto.
The Argentines Lucho Capra and Maxi Sanchez are going their separate ways next season. Lucho Capra confirms this to Padel Alto. The pair's last match was the quarterfinal Master Final against Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan.
— We talked before the tournament in Buenos Aires, and he told me that he had another option. That he had been thinking for some days and finally decided to change. I understand his decision, and this is a part of our sport, Lucho Capra says to Padel Alto.
”Grateful for Maxi”
Lucho Capra and Maxi Sanchez's highlight of the season was the Valladolid Masters. They went all the way and took the title on the high-speed surface against Federico Chingotto and Juan Tello in the final.
— I'm grateful for Maxi that he gave me the opportunity to play with him this year. I wasn't well ranked at that moment, but he did bet on me anyway. We had a good season, winning a Master and reaching two semi-finals. We both are happy with the season, ending as number seven of the pairs on the World Padel Tour, he says.
Maxi Sanchez started the season with Tito Allemandi and Lucho Capra with Pablo Lijo, which lasted for one tournament. For the second tournament, the Alicante Open, Maxi Sanchez was paired with Lucho Capra.
A partnership that is now coming to an end.
— We have a very nice relationship, we both played the last tournaments knowing about this, and we had done our best, he says.
”Can't reveal my next partner.”
The players ended as number 13th and 14th place respectively. It is still unclear who Lucho Capra and Maxi Sanchez's new partners will be for the coming season.
— I can't reveal my next partner. But I'm sure we will make a very good pair. He is a player that I have always wanted to play with, but this is the first time we have had the opportunity. I hope people will like our union, Lucho Capra says.
