Chingotto confirms: Stays with Juan Tello in 2022
Juan Tello and Federico Chingotto thrive together. Both on and off the court. When other pairs have broken up, the two Argentines have stayed together.
Both players confirmed that they will play together in 2022 to Padel Alto during a TV interview recorded when the players visited Sweden for the Malmo Padel Open.
— I don't think there is anyone better than Juan to compliment me. For me, the relationship off the court is very important, Federico Chingotto says in the TV interview with Padel Alto from Sweden.
PadelData and AlDrive were the first to report the news in an interview;t=9s">with Federico Chingotto.
After the tournament in Sweden, the team has played in both Argentina and Mexico. But when Padel Alto was in touch with Federico Chingotto on Saturday, he confirmed.
— Yes, yes, replied Federico Chingotto when asked if he will play with Juan Tello next season.
The pair have been in the final three times this year. Twice outdoors, in Cascais and Valladolid. And once indoors in Barcelona. Despite the finals, they have failed to win a title this year.
Last year they won the Las Rozas Open, but this was after their opponents, Paquito Navarro and Pablo Lima, left WO in the final due to injury. The pair finished joint tenth in this year's Race of 2021 and will therefore play the Masters Final in Madrid which starts on Thursday.
A more extended TV interview with the pair is coming soon on Padel Alto.
