Sources to Padel Alto: WPT to be played in at least 10 countries in 2022 — here is the list

According to credible sources to Padel Alto and Swedish PadelDirekt, the World Padel Tour will become global next season. WPT has already officially announced that the first competition will be played in the USA, but now Padel Alto can reveal more destinations. Among other things, a Masters tournament is planned in Dubai. 

It is already known that Sweden will have two World Padel Tour tournaments next year and that Denmark and Belgium will have their first Open tournaments.

The World Padel Tour has also officially announced that the first tournament will be held in Miami, USA. 

Padel Alto can now reveal more preliminary destinations for the 2022 season and that the tour is making a global push. Credible sources inside the tour reveal to Padel Alto that a whole host of Spanish venues will be sacrificed and the WPT will instead focus on spreading the world's stars across much of the globe.

The season will start in the last days of February and will include more competitions than before. There are 22 tournaments on the schedule: 18 Open tournaments and 4 Master's tournaments. In addition, five Challengers will be played. 

The preliminary schedule shows that nine tournaments will be played in Spain, seven Open tournaments, and two Masters. 

It also shows that the 2022 World Championship will take place in November, just like this year. And that the Master's finals will be played between 12th to 18th of December.
