Together with the current coach of Federico Chingotto and Juan Tello, Gaby Reca, Seba Nerone was the best player in the world in 2001. Then came Fernando Belasteguin and took over the throne as the world's best player.

While Gaby Reca has pursued a coaching career, Seba Nerone has continued his career while commentating on the World Padel Tour in recent years.

On Thursday, Seba Nerone, born in Buenos Aires, was decided that he would end his professional career. He is doing so after 25 years in the world elite and five world championships. He has played with current stars like Sanyo Gutierrez and Alex Ruiz.

”The feeling is that I gave it all. I have no more,” commented the player in the interview with World Padel Tour.

The last partner of Seba Nerone was another legend, Maxi Grabiel. Lately, they have been playing Previa tournaments together. But they surprisingly reached the Main Round of the Valladolid Masters earlier this year.

The last Previa that Seba Nerone will play is to the Mexico Open later this year. It will be played in Madrid. The World Padel Tour announces that Seba Nerone will continue to commentate padel in the Spanish broadcasts. He finishes his career in 84th place in the World Padel Tour rankings.
