Salazar and Triay champions in Italy — equalling Sanchez and Josemaria in titles

After each set, the match was open when the third set started. Once there, Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar showed determination and crushed Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez 6-1 in the deciding set. 

The match ended 6-7, 6-3, 6-1. The title marks Salazar and Triay's fourth of the season. It means the team now equals Josemaria and Sanchez in the number of titles, both teams now standing on four wins. 

The previous titles for Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay have come in the Alicante Open, Valladolid Masters, and Malaga Open. The schedule is incredibly tight for the players now and already on Tuesday, the final teams enter the main round of the Barcelona Masters.
