CASCAIS. Marta Ortega and Marta Marrero made a convincing entrance on the center court in Cascais. 7-6, 6-4. That means the world number ones, Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay are out.

Tomorrow they face Tamara Icardo and Delfi Brea. The team dropped only one game during their quarterfinal against Patty Llaguno and Virginia Riera.

”Las Martas” performances this year have been uneven. Brilliant performances like in Las Rozas have been mixed with less good ones. But in Cascais, they seem to have found their form.
