Lebron and Galan sensationally eliminated

Javi Ruiz and Arturo Coello showed off their best game at the Palacio Deporte Juan Maria Martin Carpena in Malaga in front of a large crowd to be on Thursday. 

The result was 7-5, 2-6, 6-2. 

Arturo Coello and Javi Ruiz started the match best, and in the final set, they were the better team. Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan were unusually stressed and missed more than usual in the slow conditions in Malaga. 

This year it's the first time Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan have failed to reach a quarter-final on the World Padel Tour. 

”A hard defeat in Malaga against rivals who deserved to win from the first point. I will not give up”, writes Alejandro Galan on his Instagram. 

Arturo Coello and Javi Ruiz were convincing yesterday when the team only lost two games to Martin Pineiro and Juan Mieres. Tomorrow, the pair will face the winners between Alex Ruiz/Franco Stupazcuk and Agustin Silingo/Jon Sanz match in their first quarter-final. 

After the match, Javi Ruiz paid tribute to his 19-year-old teammate.
