Josemaria and Sanchez back as winners — lost three games in the final

There was no question about it in the final of the Las Rozas Open. Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez, who withdrew from the last competition in Valencia due to a positive Covid-19 test on Paula Josemaria, went out at the Centro Multiusos Arena in Las Rozas dominated against Marta Ortega and Marta Marrero. 

The result was 6-2, 6-2. 

There was a class difference in the defensive effort of the teams, and Marta Marrero struggled to make a difference with her attacking style of play against the player of the match, Ariana Sanchez. 

The title marks the third of the season for Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez. Their previous wins have come in the Marbella Masters and the Madrid Open.  This brings the team's total to three titles on the women's side, with Gemma Triay/Alejandra Salazar and Tamara Icardo/Delfi Brea holding two titles each.
