Sanchez and Josemaria to their second Master final in a row

ANNONS
The question before the match was who Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar will face in the final of the Valladolid Masters. The audience was treated to a close match, with a final tiebreak deciding the outcome. So who won? Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez.

VALLADOLID. At first, it looked like it would be an easy match for Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez. They won the first set easily 6-1 and both Marta Ortega and Marta Marrero looked anything but hungry.

But padel can turn around quickly. In the second set, they took command and deservedly won 6-3. In the third, they were also in command for a long time and had two match points at 5-4 in their own serve.

Then Marta Ortega missed in the net and the following golden point was smashed out of the court by Paula Josemaria. The match went to a tiebreak in the final set. Once there, Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez had the most confidence and were able to win in big numbers.

The season has gone in two different directions for the pairs. While Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria have usually gone far in the tournaments with two tournament wins, including the latest in the Marbella Masters, "Las Martas" have struggled and have just reached the semi-finals as their best result this year. They also came to the semifinals rested as their opponent in the quarterfinals was forced to leave walk over since Alba Galan got injured.

In the final, Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria will face Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar. The audience will look forward to the number one and second teams in Sunday´s final.
