The homegrown hope knocked out — Lebron/Galan will face the legend

A number of "Vamos Arturo", "Vamos Arturito" were heard from the stands in Plaza de Mayor in Valladolid. Nevertheless, the son of the city, Arturo Coello, could not advance to the quarterfinals. Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan will now face the legend Juan Martin Diaz in Friday´s quarter-final.  

The son of Valladolid, Arturo Coello, and his partner Miguel Lamperti got a tough draw against the world number one´s Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron already in the Round of 16. The result was 6-2, 6-3, and the pair looks ready for their second Masters of the season. 

In the first set, the pair had no chance. Arturo Coello and Miguel Lamperti started by breaking Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan's serve in the second set. 

But the world number one´s came back, turned it around, and won the second set easily 6-3.

They will now face the legend Juan Martin Diaz and his new partner Pablo Lijo in tomorrow´s quarter-final. Juan Martin Diaz and Pablo Lijo did their job well against Lucas Campagnolo and Alvaro Cepero in the morning session this Thursday.
