In the second, Norway, Finland and Switzerland will face each other. Two teams in each group advance to the European Championship.
The Swedish site PadelDirekt has talked to the Swedish national captain, the former professional tennis player Jonas Björkman.
— I was at the draw, and I think it looks good. We'll get through the qualifiers, even if I don't know much about Austria and Denmark. But know that there are some good players in each team, Björkman says to PadelDirekt in a voice message in the middle of a training session.
Sweden is big favorites in their group. They have three players who usually play Pre Previa and Previa on World Padel Tour, Daniel Windahl, Simon Vasquez, and Calle Knutsson.
The other group is more open and unpredictable. Finland has one player who played Pre Previa this year in Max Sjöwall.
The qualifiers will be played in the days before the main tournament, at the same time as the World Padel Tour in Valladolid is decided.
