Here is the ranking before the European Championship
Twelve nations are qualified for the European Championship organized by FIP in Marbella from 28 June to 4 July. A total of 16 nations will be allowed to participate, which means that a qualification is required.
The seeding is based both on past results and how nations have chosen to evaluate previously organized championships whether they have chosen to participate in the FIP or FEPA championships.
As Padel Alto has written about earlier, another European Championship will be organized by FEPA later this year.
Obviously, Spain is a big favorite and tops the rankings both on the men´s side and women´s side before the European Championship. After that, it's more unpredictable. Portugal, second on the list on both the men's and women's sides, will not participate in the FIP European Championship.
A world ranking has also been produced. Argentina tops that list on the men's side and Spain on the women's side. In third place in both lists is Brazil.
The schedule and draw for the European Championship have not yet been announced.
