Mapi Alayeto has been diagnosed with MS, the world star herself announced the sad news on her Instagram. The post has created many reactions among the players and followers of padel. 

On Monday, the padel world was shaken by the sad news that world star Mapi Alayeto has been diagnosed with the muscle disease MS. 

”I have been suffering from health problems, and after doing all the tests, it has been confirmed that I have Multiple Sclerosis. It is an unpredictable disease”, Mapi Alayeto writes on Instagram

Multiple sclerosis, usually abbreviated MS, is a neurological disease that affects the central nervous system, i.e., the brain and spinal cord. In most cases, permanent disability develops over time. There is no cure for the disease, but various medications can help reduce the disease burden.

Several players and others involved in padel have sent their greetings to Mapi Alayeto since the announcement.
