Booed Lebron won – on to the quarter-finals

Juan Lebron once again creates new headlines on the World Padel Tour. During Thursday's Round of 16 at the Marbella Masters, he was booed during the match after a dispyte with the crowd. 

In the Round of 16-match between Juan Lebron/Ale Galan and Juan Belluati/Javi Garrido, the star was booed by large sections of the Marbella crowd. 

The world champions could win the match by a solid 6-2, 6-4. However, during a sequence in the second set, the star reacted to the crowd located on the long side. Large parts of the arena in Marbella responded with a boo directed at the Andalusian. 

His partner, Ale Galan, tried to calm the crowd. 

At a later stage, when Juan Lebron settled an important point, he made a gesture with his hand towards his ear towards the same long side, which was followed by more boos. 

Despite the crowd's support for Belluati/Garrido, the World number one´s could win the match. Tomorrow they face Agustin Gutierrez and Javi Martinez. 

After the match, Juan Lebron refused to thank the crowd. He also rejected an interview with Padel Alto.
