Brea and Icardo wins the Santander Open – without losing a set

ANNONS
SANTANDER. Delfi Brea and Tamara Icardo have been the best team throughout the Santander Open. Despite great nervousness in the second set in the final, the team was able to win its first-ever title. This, without losing one single set during the tournament.

A win against Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar in the quarter-final. They won steadily against ”Las Martas,” Marta Ortega, and Marta Marrero.

In the final, it was the winners of the Vigo Open, Patricia Llaguno and Virginia Riera, who had a tough match against the big winners of the week.

Two good defensive teams were faced each other on the slow courses of the Santander Open. At the beginning of the match, it looked like it was going to be a short match as Tamara Icardo and Delfi Brea brought out their best game and won easily in the first set, 6-1.

Despite some nervous games in the second set, they could finally win 7-5. That means it's Tamara Icardo and Delfi Brea's first win on the World Padel Tour.

The pair went through the tournament without losing one single set.
