Vigo Open over for 17-year-old sensation
The super talent Javi Leal and his partner Miguel Semmler have done the impossible this week. Starting in the Vigo Opens Pre Previa, the team won eight games before Paquito Navarro, and Martin Di Nenno became too tough in the quarter-final.
Eight matches since last Sunday and eight wins. In Friday´s quarter-final, Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno became too tough, 2-6, 2-6.
The pair have shocked a whole padel world.
In the round of 16, Agustin Silingo ranked 17, and Mati Diaz, ranked 12, fought back with scores of 6-1, 4-6, 6-1. They faced Martin Pineiro and Javier Barahona, who were also beaten after three sets in the quarter-finals in the quarter-final.
The quarter-final was their ninth match for the 101-ranked Javi Leal and 94-ranked Miguel Semmler. For the opponents, it was their second.
