The 16-time world champion Fernando "Bela" Belasteguin has signed a contract with the Swedish padel operator Every Padel. The investment is made to develop the padel globally. Among other things, a Bela Padel Center will be launched in Jönköping.

The collaboration between the world padel star and Every Padel means several things.

In addition to Fernando Belasteguin becoming an ambassador for Every Padel, a Bela Padel Center will be launched in Jönköping, Sweden. It is the first outside of Spain.

— I am pleased about the deep cooperation with Every Padel. I have been looking for a partner who can grow the sport of padel globally and take Bela Padelcenter to new markets. Every Padel is the perfect partner to help more people discover the sport I have dedicated my life to and which is now growing faster than ever. We have long shared the same vision for the development of padel, and I look forward to expanding our partnership and taking it to new markets outside of Scandinavia in the future, Bela said in a press release.

The partnership will begin immediately, and a new Bela Academy concept is about to be launched at Every Padel's various facilities. Bela Padelcenter is expected to open in Jönköping by the end of 2021.

— We continue to invest in the global growth of padel, and it is important for us to partner with the very best to achieve success. The partnership with Bela will immediately take Every Padel to the next level. In addition to bringing expertise and reaching the global padel market, it will create a world-class academy within Every Padel. In late autumn, we are delighted to open Bela Padel Centre, the first to be created outside Spain, says Every Padel's chairman and ESMG's CEO, Hannes Andersson.

Fernando Belasteguin is now world number three on the World Padel Tour rankings. After two competitions played this year, he and Sanyo Gutierrez have taken the victory in the first competition in Madrid, last time in Alicante the team went out in the quarter-finals. A new competition awaits the world stars next week when the Vigo Open is held.
